This morning I woke up, all happy because I had a dream I got loads of Charged Lodestones… and then reality settled in, and now I’m all sad.

I’ve searched the forums and youtube for tutorials and I’ve tried going to Malchor’s Leap to farm the sparks but on my server (in my time of the day when I play) the temples are ALWAYS contested and require group events to unlock. I’ve done the dungeon runs etc… of course, it’s going but I’m getting frustrated that I basically HAVE to involve other people for getting my goodies.

Is there any way of getting the lodestones going fully solo? Besides buying, I mean?

(PS. I like cooperation in this game. I like doing dungeon runs with groups, and guild events and whatnot. I dislike that I can’t get a certain crafting material by roaming)

Dont worry about someone getting your loot cuz its not working like that, you get your own loot.

Grind gold and buy the stones. It’s much more effective that way.

That’s not what I meant. What I mean is, the lodestones drop only when certain waypoints are uncontested. The events to GET them uncontested are group events (and honestly, I’m not pro enough to solo them. not by a long shot). Therefore, either I do a kamikaze or I beg acceptance to various groups just to get this one specific drop.

I know. But for immersion reasons I’d like to get at least a portion of them how you’re supposed to aquire them: via gameplay.

I can understand that. When I was grinding the armored scales for my quiver, I did about 50:50 grinding and buying.

You could upgrade charged cores in the mystic forge. I’m not 100% on where you can farm them from but you can buy them from the TP for around 70 silver. You’ll need 2 to make one Lodestone.

Indeed guesting is a good idea, I usually got some (1 or 2) when farming near the gates of arah with zephyr uncontested. Charged cores drop from champ bags and i got lucky a few times when salvaging salvageable twisted watchwork scrap in the mario event.
