Guild Wars 2

So me and my bro just got the game and we made asuras, and we wanted to lvl together but we found out that we didnt pick the same story line thingy. so i wanted to know if their was any way we were able to lvl together and how long does ur storyline go on for!

We quit wow (World of Warcraft) to play this game and then we fond out that we cant play together unless we pick the same story line! i just need help here!

You can still level together. Make a party with the 2 of you and then you can do your personal quests together.

We are in a personal party but when we go to do our personal quests it asks if we wanted to join the others, so one of joins one of our story and doesn’t get xp for it!

Of course you don’t get xp for your buddys quest. Otherwise you could duplicate xp by running your buddys personal story. If you help him with his story quest and he helps you with your storyquest both of should get roughly the same amount of xp.

Besides, personal story quests are just a small (doesn’t mean unimportant) part of the game. You’ll find enough time playing with your friend outside of personal story quest. Don’t worry.

You can always party up with your bro in dungeons, dynamic events, WvWvW & gain XP together.

Btw, having diff storyline has its benefit. Both of you can experience each other story, thus having better picture of the whole racial storyline.
