Alright here’s the deal..
At the moment im a level 9 human elementalist and im trying to follow my story quest.
But im suddenly supposed to go somewhere where the creatures are level 20+ what am i doing wrong and how will i get to that level so i can complete my story?
Should i jsut farm mobs until i get there cus thats a loooooong way..

You’re not doing anything wrong, just finish the zone you’re in. The personal quests pop up in areas level appropriate FOR that quest.

If you want to just do your personal quest and not anything else in game, go farm mobs.

Do quests, events, crafting so you level up. You will have to level up if you want to finish your story quest.

Whatever you do, don’t just farm mobs, haha. In most cases that’s an extremely inefficient way of levelling :P
You usually have to do other things (even if it’s just exploring/map-clearing/events) in order to keep up with your story quests.

Go and do the starting zones for all the races. You’ll gain so many levels from that, that you’ll always be a higher level then what your personal story needs. Was level 80 before reaching my level 45 quest.
