I love this game. I have played long and a lot. I have two things right now that are frustrating me, the first you cannot help me with, but with the second, I surely hope you will.
My second problem is that I am lonely most of the time. so, I came here looking for you, my possible new friend(s).
I don’t care if you started on the day you read this or way before me. I don’t care about your APs or titles. All I ask that you:
1. Are nice.
2. Like to play GW 2.
3. Don’t mind that I am a middle aged woman.
Anyone out there, please, just whisper me. Whispers carry even theough region lines.
For me, doing dungeons with friends is the best way to adventure together all at once, especially since we’re not the type of player that kicks someone for not being the exact build we want them to be. In PvE, I almost always adventure with at least one other person. Being a roleplayer helps too.
You should join a friendly guild. One of the great things about GW2 is that there are so many nice people as opposed to games like WoW (I’d like to play that, but I’d get eaten alive, and I’m one of those “in between casual and hardcore” players).
Hey I don’t mind if you add me. I do enjoy roaming on my characters and occasionally doing dungeons but doing that stuff with others always breaks the tedium.
So yeah feel free to like or message if you wanna party up or chat. (that goes for anyone really)
You can add me, but I am very quiet. Unless you step on toe I won’t squeak :-) I play with a daughter as well, but she is very competitive and like kicking kitten . I am the opposite, I like roaming about, doing events. Haven’t started dungeons yet or PvP. I will when I understood the game and got the best of PVE first. Then I’ll ask my guild or some other group to mentor me for dungeons and stuff. I have 5 lvl 80 and currently levelling a thief, again (now lvl 32) :-) I just love its challenge. I play them all to understand what makes each character tick.
So I just take it easy and I am enjoying the game. This month my boy will join us. We have another family (wife, husband and boy) playing as well.
Edit: I am no help for professional advice on the game. I just play it as it comes. I don’t even understand all the acronyms I see here. Who cares, I enjoy the game :-)
I’m the only one that games in my family, and they even look down on me for doing it :/
Yeah it started with a father, who got his wife to play who got her boy to play who became a boyfriend of my daughter, he got her to play then she got me to play and then my boy became jealous and he wanted to play too :-) Now I am trying to convince my cat Diego to join :-) he likes sitting on the PC for warmth :-)
