I still cant find another class to enjoy.
Become a warrior. Give in to it. You know you wanna have that GS/Hammer build with massive meele damage. It’s also a very tactical class just like guardian, but less tactical than guardian.
Reaper = roll face on keyboard to win.
It’s kind of fun though.

Hehe, well you’ve already got my advice on the Warrior. We kick kitten and have fun doin’ it.
Not to dissuade you too much, but a small note on the following…
Besides elementalist right now, my issue with guard for example is limited in builds at the moment, and im having a hard time getting into many of the weapons, sceptor is to weak, staff isnt really for dps, mace and hammer are a bit to slow, 1hsword is ok but its fairly weak compared to mace and not all that useful in pve, torch and focus seem to be decent though. Greatsword and bow I enjoy though. I loved everything else about guardian.
… I’ve found the Guard’s scepter/torch combo to be way undervalued. Without a sigil of strength or runes of strength I can keep up 16-20 stacks of might. On a hybrid build, it can be kinda fun.

What type of content do you want to play? I agree that in open world, guardian’s rotation isn’t that interesting (that’s my main), but when I do small group content, it becomes a lot more interesting. I would usually swap around my build depending on situation, e.g. pure DPS, reflect-heavy, condition clears, etc. And a well timed aegis or reflect wall can make a huge difference to the team.
Also, you shouldn’t rule out any class until you try it out yourself. There’s a lot of intangibles that can’t be expressed in words. For me, I fell out of love with the ele (it was my 1st main) just because, no definite reason. But recently tried engi, and now it’s my go-to class if I want to have a fun and frantic evening… nothing to do with DPS or survivability or utility… it’s just “fun”.

I do have an 80 guardian, anywho I enjoy pve content mostly.
I meant what type of pve? Open world, dungeons/fractals, raids?
Based on what you have already said, my suggestion would be GS power Reaper with no minions. If you use one of the heavy armor outfits, it’ll be more of a death knight-ish theme.
Mesmers weakest DPS?!?
What drunk have you been listening to?
Mesmer: “When you absolutely, positively need it dead right kittening now.”
The only real issue with playing Mesmer is that it’s just as complicated as Staff Ele plus you have to be able to fight with a hectic, highly mobile style that is about the same as thief. In most builds you are constantly on the move, teleporting, using stealth, shattering clones and playing “Now you see me, now you don’t.”
I like to call it: “Agile, Mobile, Hostile.”
For starters look into the basic power/shatter mesmer. The WvW build on Metabattle for the Condi PU Roamer is also a great foundation to modify for PvE and I even like it in PvP.

All of pve, sorry that wasnt clear.

Interesting are there any good dps builds for gs, and 1sword?
Your issue seems to be that you’re listening to other people rather than drawing your own conclusions. You can get by playing basically whatever you want in this game, the only place where it might cause issues is in raids and perhaps high-level fractals. So saying things like “rangers are only good at healing” or “mesmers have the worst DPS” is largely irrelevant. Rangers are fine at open world play in whatever DPS setup you want, Mesmers can do enough damage to kill things in solo play, and even in raid situations where Mesmers might have the lowest personal DPS, they’re still must-have classes due to the boons they output, a position many other classes wish they could be in.
So go try Mesmer out, go try Ranger out. Play a Necromancer and ignore the minion skills. You ignore your Spirit Weapon skills on your Guardian, right? You didn’t decide not to play it because of its pets. Try out Thief and see what it’s like to have absolute freedom in your rotations with no weapon skill cooldowns.
Don’t let other people dictate what you’d have fun with. Don’t fall into the “I have to play a Metabattle build” trap. Until you’re going on raids, you can play what you want and do just fine.
I’d check metabattle first, after that maybe talk to someone who knows mesmer about creating a build for those weapons that has great synergy.
If you want, my twitch stream is up and will be up for a couple of hours. I can help you figure something out.
Actually that’s what my twitch channel is all about, helping new players.

But thats my point, I will be doing endgame content when rotations do matter so it isnt just listening to other people, I already know you can do fine in open world pve. And the only reason why you ignore guardian spirit weapon skills is because you have to because they suck.
I dont want to waste all my effort on a class that changes in high level fracs or raids, maybe you do but it doesnt mean I should, you arent deciding anything for yourself if your shohorned into certain play styles to be viable.

Thank you.
Personally I use a greatsword + longbow dragonhunter for PVE. It can get through most things fairly well, so I don’t feel like I’m somehow kitten by the weapon choices.
Unless you’re going for speedruns and raids, a condi revenant is fine, too. It might be a bit hard to comprehend, but most of the community is actually pretty bad at making builds. If you go with a full power condi rev, you’ll probably do better than most of the other players out there. The big limit to condi rev is that it requires the enemy to be moving to do maximum damage, so you’ll get a wide range of effectiveness depending on the enemy itself.
As far as necromancers go, there’s only one build that is really minion heavy. Their playstyle is more of a brawler or a brute, due to their high HP.
