Guild Wars 2

I’m not sure if this is where something like this goes but, when I started playing Guild Wars 2, my fiance and i joined Emerhy Bay ( I think that’s how you spell it) and it was packed with people, now a days, it seems that there is no one on at all. I was wondering, did that many people leave the game? did the shard population die out lol? or did everyone move to like one hugely populated server? it just seems weird to me is all. If that is the case, I have no clue how to check to see which servers are full of people and which aren’t, is there even a way to check? I am wondering if we could transfer to one that is possibly more populated lol.

I’m still on Emhry, there’s lots of folks around, I think? I see people in LA all the time, I see the usual suspects and even some I haven’t seen at all the dragon timer events? We still seem to be doing fine in our little corner of the WvW greater universe?

I’m not really sure how to figure out where everyone is congregating for PvE? You could try that really big thread where people all join a club to help find each other to do things with?

I will admit, there isn’t too much going on in zones that don’t ‘have’ a daily chest event. I am running a warrior up, around 33, and many of the places I go don’t seem to have much going on (Lornar’s Pass – a favorite, Snowden Drifts, recently my personal story dragged me to Fields of Ruin).

I’m not really sure other places experience the same thing, but I would think so. Hopefully they add more little events like that in all the zones to get more people to loiter in some of those other places.

But I hardly feel like Emhry is a ghost town?

I was going to say the same thing. I’m on Ehmry and we have tons of people in wvw, and when I do pve, have no problems finding people to do group events with.

Depending on the location for the daily, I’ll notice a shift in population towards the one needed. Or timers for big events like the dragons, or Maw, will also move a lot of people to those areas.

Also today is reset for wvw so LA will be packed with people for that.

I wish all the bots would go to one server, all the cof farmers would go to another, all the other dungeon farmers would go to another, all the RPers go to another, all the inactive people go to another. that would leave all the other servers for people who do varieties of stuffs.
the university I went to had that. 10 colleges within the university, and each one is for different personality typed people. each college even told prospective students who tended to go there (classes were attended by all, this is primarily for housing).

there don’t seem to be too many bots in the area we are in but, then again, I don’t tend to go looking for them lol. Though, it just seems like the area we are in right now, hairithi hinterlands, is deserted, last night there were only my fiance and I, and two other people. I guess it might be just the time of day but, that was pretty late at night, I will take your word for it though guys lol Thanks ^-^

Its really no different anywhere else. Some zones are just emptier than others. But you aren’t tied to you server. You can go anywhere, find a crowded area if thats what you want and guest there for awhile.

That’s in that ‘not so sweet spot’ 35-45 area. I seem to recall there was a ‘great’ event chain, which I’ve ‘sadly’ only done maybe 3-4 times in the NE corner that ended in a big fight and a chest. That would be a great event to put a little daily chest on.

it ends with “[Group Event] Defeat Ulgoth the Modniir and his minions (43)”, and you DO get a daily rare chest from it.
it’s one of my favorites, especially for leveling and completing dailies like “kill 50 enemies” and “do 5 events in Kryta”.
