Guild Wars 2

Hi, I’m a noob to Guild Wars 2 and I’m a lore hound. So I wanna experience some other personal stories. I’m currently stuck between making a human and a charr. I’ve seen some videos on both races, but I still can’t decide. Which one do you kind people think has a richer story. I also wanted to hold off on making an alt until the revanent was released but I really want to experience another story, so i was thinking about the elementalist. How does that class play? Thanks to those who reply.

I’m a huge fan of elementalists, definitely a great class to play, and very versatile. Some say it’s hard, but I find it hands down the easiest class to play in this game and still get results (as in, good DPS and survivability, and not relying on godawful pet AI to do PvE content solo).

As for race… humans are boring. They’re everywhere, and GW1 was all-human player characters fighting against the charr, so that makes the charr even more interesting.
If you want some wacky fun in your personal story, try asura, their personal stories are hilarious^^
Besides, you have five character slots, so nothing is keeping you from making more than one alt at a time

The human story is pretty good, but I think the charr one is better. That’s just my opinion, though. And, as Red Queen pointed out, you have five character slots. Why not make one charr and one human?

As the Racial storylines end at level 30, why not one of both? then you can decide which one you like the most and take him/her to 80; you should have enough character slots already.

Alright, I’ll take you all’s word for it. And I knew I had 5 slots, I was just wondering which I should try first :P

Also, an advantage of filling up those 5 slots sooner rather than later: your toons get gifts on birthdays. Empty slot = no birthday = no gift.
