But is it to late ? With PoF launching in a month will hot maps die out ? I only have 3 Alma-something gemstones atm and I see I need 250….kicking myself atm since I sold all mine. And how much map specific Items is required ?

I don’t want to finish the legendary in a month , just the hot exclusive items.

Plenty of time.
First, AmGems can be bought — you can farm the gold whenever you like. Or you can make your own (for about 10-20% less).

Second, the primary HoT-specific requirements are:

• Map completion of each HoT map (even most of Dragon’s Stand map completion can be done without a group).
• The purchased gifts, and that’s just a matter of doing side events to generate lcoal currency.
• 250 Crystalline Ore… that’s less than 3 Dragon’s Stand metas if you come prepared with 110+ machetes or closer to 5 if you’re inefficient like I am.

Everything else can be done via gold, including via PoF and selling off stuff from there to fund your project.

Don’t forget, you will have an influx of new and returning players to bolster HoT maps

Wow… I just looked up the recipe for “The Shining Blade” Compared to what I am building… it is SUUUUUPER cheap and does not look like it will take a long time for the Precursor.

The deldrimore ingots are pretty easy to get without paying the gold for it if you don’t mind being time gated. Hit the rich nods for Iron, plat, and mitiril daily and you will get enough each day to make one ingot.

Don’t bother farming the elderwood by chopping trees. Play the game normally and just salvage all the masterwork garbage and lower and you’ll wind up with a stack of the junk in a day.

Hit all of the rich mitiril nodes, collect the mitiril nodes as you pass by them. And salvage all heavy armor and weapons and you’ll hve more than enough mitiril to cover the cost for the steel and 100 tributes to the queen. Honestly, it shouldn’t take you more than 15 days of normal game play to complete the precursor.

Then… for Gift of Glory, and Gift of War, you can just cheaply buy the items needed from the market place. Gift of Battle Pop a celebration booster, a Black Lion, Normal XP booster, and some food and go play WvW for a few hours.

By straight up farming and crafting alone it will take you about 6 days to get enough deldrimor ingots. And that’s not spending hours. That’s just treating iron and plat collecting as a daily till you get 50 iron ore 40 plat ore and 100 mith ore (which is easily obtained by normal game play).

When you are done with your ingots. Just continue to collect the Iron and Plat ores, and sell them on the market place to use it to speed up the collection process for other materials. You’ll average about 6 gold on Iron, and 12-20g on plat a day. Mitiril ore is only worth 98 copper.

What I would honestly suggest though… is collect all of the rich nodes for Iron and Plat (because these are worth a fortune). Use what you need to craft your ingot for the day. And sell the excess. Which can be used to help you pay for the 10 elonian squares, because each square is about 12-14 gold.
