Well, I’ll be needing over 1000 gold, and 1 gold is about $0.14 at the moment, so that’s only…$140. Not entirely sure if it’s the best allocation of my funds.

Don’t buy it, it’s a lot cheaper to craft it.
Heck, buy Cores, upgrade to Lodestones, and then buy Ores and craft Ingots -> Blade Hilts.
It’ll cost you about 700-800g depending on how greedy you are.
Or run EoTM train. That makes pretty good money from selling loot/mats. I usually end up with quite a bit of ectos from a EoTM train session.

Stupid idea perhaps, but do you have any use for laurels? You could turn them into T6 and sell those on the TP. Not a fast method per se, but it does not involve PvE for you and you might have a few already.

This is a great point actually. If you aren’t saving up your T6 mats or laurels then this is another easy way to add to your daily gold earnings.

Show some patience and some options to try:
- Play the TP in between queues if you’re able to.
- Do a high-level Dungeontrack, throw the greatswords in the forge and sell the result.
- Trade Tokens for Armors to salvage (or more weapons to gamble…)
- Patience, patience, patience.
It’s the best to just get to your goal by doing things you enjoy doing. Sadly if you don’t have any luck, it will take forever. If there’s any half-decent solo-farms out there, you could do that in between the queue aswell.
