Guild Wars 2

I am not sure if this goes here, but I was chatting in my guild today and I logged off for a little while and when I came back, found out that I had been kicked out of my guild, and the guildleader blocked me so I couldn’t ask why I was kicked for no reason, I never cursed, argued with any member or anything. Does anyone have any ideas what to do?

Impossible to tell. You don’t know anyone else in the guild to ask? Was anyone besides you kicked from the guild? That happened to me. Someone got into the guild I was in and kicked everyone out, kept all the guild goodies and invited new people. So maybe his account was hacked and the hacker is kicking people.

I am waiting for the other member I remember the name of to come online, Nobody besides me was kicked that I know of, I used to be a guild leader myself so it is a small habit to check the log, to see what has happened since i was last on, i had checked it this morning and there wasn’t anyone who left or got kicked out, I know that he did tell everyone in the guild that there was someone who “had his name” and to report him if we encountered him.

Well, sounds like you will have to wait for that one guy to show up and see if he can find out. Otherwise you might just have to accept this as one of those things and find another guild. It may have been just some sort of misunderstanding but if I got kicked like that without some sort of reason given or a chance to say my side, I would probably just move on. Life is too short for such petty dictatorships.

Nothing you can do besides finding members to talk to. If you did get kicked for no reason, like Astral said; move on, they’re not worthy of having you as their guildmate. It’s a shame something like this happened to you though, any explaination is a sad one; Guildleader got hacked or you got a treatment you didn’t deserve.

I remember a guy getting kicked from my guild once for making persistent use of the ‘n’ word. He insisted it was perfectly OK in his language so it should be OK in English.

Even after he was kicked, he continued to protest his innocence and that the rest of us were being totally unreasonable.

Just saying…

I was also kicked & blocked from a guild without a reason as well…
The guild was called: Dolosus Syndicate

They have Rules that I obviously did NOT break.
Rules such as, No sexism, No Racism, and being respectful.
I was told it was a family-friendly guild and we log on to play together for fun.

I contributed to the Guild site, joined on some guild events, and had fun playing with these guys. They were really nice to me as I was to them. After a week, I was kicked from the guild, blocked, banned from their TS3 server and their Guild site which I worked hard to contribute in. Oh, and all my posts got removed too. Huh???

The explination I got was: “Most people were complaining about you.”
What exactly is there to complain about me? lol That I’m shy on TeamSpeak when multiple people talk to me? I was never offensive to anyone.

Point is, don’t bother with trying to get back into guilds like that…
If a guild does that to you, then it’s most likely corrupted and you defiantly don’t want to take part it.

Sadly this seems to be the case with quite a few guilds. I was in a guild and got booted because (im guessing) i did not log on for 2 weeks. i was in the hospital at that time and even did my best to post it on their forums on my crappy smart phone. when i came back i was blocked from communication to the leader so i will never find out. all you can do is shrug and remember that not every one plays to have fun some want to be the best at everything and those people tend to quit games quickly when they find you cant be the best at everything.

But you have to remember, there are those who claim they just want to have fun and still give you that same result you mentioned.

It’s like you said, I guess we’ll never know for sure.

People online are weird, sometimes you can say something and it totally gets taken the wrong way, sometimes ‘officers’ are in a bad mood and decide to take it out on someone else, but either way it’s best to let it go, if a guild is gonna kick you over something so trivial they are not worth being in IMO.

Meh. Forget about it and move on. I’ve seen people in my guild openly fighting because they disagree with how a dungeon run should be done. Maybe someone got kicked because of that (I don’t know, I just glanced at the verbal assaults/insults as they were happening).

It’s the interwebs. People be crazy on the interwebs. Look for a new, better guild. If it happens continuously, you may have some personality flaws you were previously unaware of.

This is why I never join guilds any more. Far too much drama. Now, I simply make personal guilds and put only my characters in them. Much easier. No reason to worry if someone’s going to make off with the guild bank..no reason to worry if the new guy will get along with everyone else…it’s just me.

Move on.

Find another guild with players that you would actually enjoy playing with.

No sense in spending your time in game surrounded by others who either you do not like or they do not like you.

You are here to have fun. When that stops happening, time for a change.

Actually it’s best not to post back here as that is the same as naming and shaming, which is against the forum rules. Lets say someone did that. They talk to the guildies. The guildies are naturally going to be putting the people they kicked out in a bad light. Whether it is true or not, either way posting it is a very bad idea.
