Guild Wars 2

Can anyone give me a way to lvl up fast? Because all the leveling guides i’ve seen require me to cook stuff with “sticks of butter”. But ever since that one patch u can’t buy sticks of butter from vendors anymore. i am a asuran necro only lvl 15, but used to hav gaurdian 25.

I don’t want to sound rude or anything, but did you try playing the game? o.o

There’s absolutely no reason to rush to endgame, with perhaps the exception of WvW. Even then I wouldn’t do it.

Almost everything you do in the game gives XP … it’s quite easy to level even without trying.

Explore a starting maps to 100%. Discover new recipes in crafting. Doing these two alone would net you a good chunk of exp.

There is no need for a leveling guide. Play the game however you want. You can level by crafting, doing task areas, doing events, or map exploration. Also, always do the story quest as soon as you can, it tends to give nice chunks of exp to help you go along, and I enjoyed my story the whole way.

I would highly recommend going for map completion as you travel to each task area. I usually go to the nearest scout I see, and they will show you were a couple task areas are, and possibly where another scout is. Then I just work my way around the map, picking up all skill points, POIs, Vistas, and waypoints. By the end I’ve probably gotten several levels, and a nice reward for completing the map.

I would recommend walking outside the starting city, pick a direction at random, and roll out. Kill anything that opposes you and heed the call of those in need, explore every nook and cranny, and harvest ALL the nodes.

This is so true. Complete each map and you’ll be levelling in no time. GL!

Here ya go …. Create a character… pick a profession… talk to the first npc …. spin around 3 times and go off in any direction you want and play it anyway you want. Theres no reason to rush to cap … content is everywhere events happen for all levels not just the endgamers. Leave all the old assumptions at the start screen and enjoy the ride And no charge for this guide either LOL

There’s nothing special waiting for you at level 80. What you do at 15 and 25 will be what you’ll do at 80.

I guess even the easiest game requires guide for some people.

I actually stopped just running around cause I’m leveling way too fast for my taste and started PvP’in. What’s the rush xD?

Leveling in GW2 is so easy I got 80 in 6 days (I work 8 to 5 and I had no in-depth knowledge about GW2 mechanics or anything). Go to a map, do all hearts, 100% map, personal quest, all events you see. Rinse, repeat.

Even reviving fallen players/npc’s grants experince. And like others above me has said, don’t rush. This game isn’t about the rush to level cap, its about the journey. So have fun!

1) Do anything.
2) Get xp.
3) ????
4) Profit!

you want a guide to lvl fast i find im lvling way to fast lol i need a guide to not lvl so fast.

At least most of them are gone to Mists of Pokemon soon enough.
