Guild Wars 2

Alright, I lightly played guild wars 2 a couple of years ago so im not completely new. Im typically not into mmo’s but I wanna start toying with this game. Speaking guild wars 1 was absolutely stunning i said hey ill give this one a shot. I bought the digital copy so its downloading as we speak. I wanna know whats a good way to start the game like race and profession. Could i find a clan that can guide me from the start?

It really depends on your play style. Personally I would start out with either a Guardian or Ranger. My two favorite classes at the moment.

Races don’t matter so much. Pick one that you love there are no specific bonuses that greatly effect your ability to perform a profession.

You can possibly find a guild to help but people in game are generally pretty friendly and happy to help you along.

When i start as a ranger, what should i mainly focus on? What are good companions to have? I bought the deluxe edition also, what exactly do i get in the game?

Most go for a glass cannon type build. If you are mainly PvE this will do perfectly from the information given to me by ranger players. I don’t really have a comment, more competent ranger player please jump in!

As for pets bears are very good as they have high HP and can tank for you in PvE.

As for finding people to game with. Check out Operation: Union, there are a lot of very helpful and awesome people over there. The people there have helped me a tonne!

It maybe slightly tricky to find some people on your server, however if you are NA I recommend Ilse of Janthir, Sanctum of Rall, Tarnished Coast as there are a good many people those server on Union. For EU Gunnar’s Hold or Aurora Glade.

Just focus on clearing hearts, doing events and your story imo.

You can capture a large number of pets and have them all at your disposal. There is no best pet pick one that suits your situation.
