Hi im new to gw2 i have created a couple characters and i liked them then i deleted the game and now an expansion is coming thought i give it a proper try please anyone got any advice at all?

play multiple characters and decide which you prefer join a guild and find people willing to teach you.
are you on NA or EU servers?

If you previously bought and registered the game, it’s not gone, just uninstalled. You can reactivate your account and pick up where you left off for free.

You might even have a nice armor outfit waiting for you.

i have bought the game why would i have armor waiting for me?

If you bought the game before yesterday and registered it, you count as a “veteran” for purposes of the giveaway of the Royal Guard Outfit this week. It isn’t armor, it’s a skin that covers your armor and is infinitely useable on all your alts. You can only hide the helmet, and you have to dye the whole thing with 4 dye channels instead of piece by piece.

Remember, once you’ve bought, you own it forever (well, unless banned). All you need to do is reinstall the client and log in with your old id and password.
