Does anybody know where in game mail, that was misaddressed goes?
Lets say that i send a mail to xxxxxx.#### instead of the character name.
Is that mail (and any content) lost? Will it be returned?

If the address you’re trying to send the mail to doesn’t exist, it just says that the user you’re trying to send the mail to is not found and the mail will not get sent – nothing will be lost.

The message i receive is Mail sent successfully. (with xxxxx.#### i mean f.i. somebody sending me a message to Sela.6013 instead of my character name)

Anyone?
(Sorry about bumping, but i cannot find an answer anywhere else.)

If it let you send the mail then the account exists and you have lost the mail contents unless the person decides to send it back.

Otherwise it is completely fine to mail to an account name instead of a character name since mail is account-wide not character specific.
