Infusion question
I learned the hard way that the wiki site is not always right. Initially I had gotten a fractal backpiece thinking it had a slot for an upgrade (since it was an exotic and that is what the wiki said). As it turns out it did not, and I was surprised by this. Trust the tooltip, not wiki for things like this IMO.

I think it depends on the infusion. I am under the impression the utility infusions do NOT add AR. the others; they should, but they should also say so.

Ah it’s possible I may have mis-read the wiki entry. Are fine infusions different to the bought ones – ie upgraded versions?
The laurel vendors offer basic versions as opposed to the fine versions.
Fine precise infusion grants +5 precision, +5 AR.
Basic precise infusion grants +4 precision.
So NO, the laurel vendor infusions do not contain AR.
Ok I have a similar question.
Do Versatile Simple infusions (the ones purchased for 75 Fractal Relics providing 5 AR) fit into a Utility Infusion?
Because I’m planning to get my Amulet in a few hours.
My first priority is to maximize my AR so getting +5 AR is a must. But since the fine infusions are absurdly expensive I won’t be wasting resources on them.
However if possible I’d like to get an Amulet with a Utility infusion so that once they implement infused Amulets I can upgrade it with a useful Utility Infusion (I’m thinking +20% Gold from Monsters).
Supposedly, versatile simple infusions will work in offensive, defensive, or utility slots.
So yes, they should work. But I don’t think anyone has been able to verify this. Yet.
Oh, and there may already be recipes for infusing the amulets in the mystic forge. People just have to get enough laurels to purchase the amulets to find out. I’m hoping.
Those fine infusions are not worth it, imho. Using precision as an example, it takes an additional 21 points of precision if you are level 80 to gain an additional 1% critical chance. That extra +5 precision doesn’t amount to much.

Going against my own word here, but according to the wiki, versatile (omni infusions) can be placed in offensive, defensive, and utility slots.
