I have noticed since the last update that I am having problems managing my inventory/bags. I am finding it hard to drag and drop items into different slots. Also when trying to drag consumables, I consume then when that was not what I wanted. I have tried for about 5 minutes to remove an item from my invisible bag just to have it constantly equiping. Is anyone else having this problem or should I check my mouse/keyboard settings. I know it is not a hardware/mouse issue as my mouse is still working perfectly with photograph editoring software.

Sounds like you are double clicking really. Double clicking consumes items (potions/food), puts them in use(Salvage Kits), and equips gear. To drag an item, just click & hold the button down to drag it where you would like it to go.
If it still registers as a double click, you might have to check your mouse settings, for both game & computer, just to make sure.
Thats about all I can offer, I am not having this issue though. Hope you figure it out!

I am not double clicking and I am not release the mouse button either. I have it where it highlights but it wont drag at all. Sometimes if I double click an empty pane then try it works. Also at times it starts moving and then just jumos back to the original slot

That happened to me about 8 months ago and it was a problem with my mouse. I was holding the button down the entire time but it kept cutting in and out so the game thought I was double clicking. It got gradually worse until it made some games virtually impossible to play because I couldn’t click and drag and made everything else a pain to do.

You can check whether it is the mouse by plugging another one in to the computer and see if you have the same problem (borrow one from a friend if you don’t have a spare). If the problem goes away then the issue is the mouse.
