Hi I’m a mesmer that recently acquired the legendary torch Rodgort. As you may know it leaves small flames as footsteps. Beeing a memser I invis alot. My question is In WvW can my opponents see my footsteps as I go invis? If this is the case it needs some serious fixing. Thanks alot //Juan

that is a good question!
While I don’t know for sure, I do know that when you are invisible, things like the glow from jormag’s breath or mad king back piece won’t help you in the dark room. So I expect that while you’re invisible, they see nothing. I have not tested this…

Maybe you could guest over to one of your opposing servers and talk to people there. If they are willing to help you, party up with them and you both enter your respective wvw’s. I assume they will be able to see your party dot and speak to you. You make your way over to each other then you go invisible and they tell you if they can see your footsteps. This assumes of course they won’t lie to you but it’s one way to find out.

There are so many legendaries out there… just go to wvw, find an enemy thief or mesmer with a legendary, stalk them, see if they have footsteps after cloaking.
