Hi all!

I was just wondering if, when i buy extra bag slots, will they only be available on the character i purchased them on or with they be available on my other characters as well? Just curious

No, it’s only for that character.

Even if you delete the character and create a new one in the same slot you’ll lose the extra bags.

I guess it depends on how you approach it. For me, I’m willing to give $10 a month to the game. A self-imposed subscription, if you will. That gives me 800 gems to do whatever I want with, every month.

1. My 4 characters each have an extra bag slot.
2. I have 2 extra slots in my bank.
3. I got the witch’s outfit on my main.
4. I bought a 25 stack of fine transmutation stones when they had a 50% off sale on those.

I think that’s everything thus far, might be missing something. That’s been totally worth it to me. I know folks who go out drinking every weekend, or maybe go to the movies every weekend. I don’t do those things. $10/mo to contribute to what I do like to do, that doesn’t seem all that much…for me.

Depending on the Gold-to-Gem market, buying an extra slot can be cheaper than buying a bigger bag.

For instance, the cost of 100 Gems right now is 1.8 gold. For 400 gold, it costs 7.2 gold for an additional Bag Slot.

To upgrade from a 15-slot bag to a 20-slot bag will cost you 12 gold on the trading post. You gain 5-slots for 12 gold (and get 65 silver back for selling the old bag)

If you bought an extra bag slot, plus a 15-slot bag, you would spend 7.2 gold for the slot, and 65 silver for the 15-slot bag. This gives you 15 more slots for about 7.85 gold.

Summary:
You can gain 5 slots for ~11.3 gold without the gemstore OR
You can gain 15 slots for ~7.8 gold using the gemstore.

Or you can buy another character slot. Comes with a free 20-slot bag, + 4*15 slot.

Character slot – 800 gem – 14.4g
4*15 slot bag – 2.3g

Summary:
You can gain 80 slots for ~ 16.7g using the gemstore for character slot.

25 stacks? As in 25 stacks of 250? As in 6250? That’s a LOT of fine transmutation stones. Now if they don’t stack to 250, then please disregard my puzzlement.
