Haven’t played this game in a while, did they get gear preview in the trading post yet? Just curious.

No and at times you still get that error .I logged into GW2 four times in 3 days got that error twice. I just logged off no sense wasting my time on something that was not working properly. Waste of time spending coins to go to trading post and it dont work. And people using that trader express tool they got to be really ticked off to get that error message and lost the few gems they spent on it. But I might be expecting too much due to the game only being out on the market for less than six months..

Hm, I never get that error message anymore, unless it’s -announced- down for maintenance.

Bummer…kind of surprised, thought it’d be in game by now.

It was working at one time KryoKore. But it has not for sometime now. I tend to think error messages go from server to server go figure how many servers we all play on. And i do know its not a pc issue with six pc’s in house,. But thats another issue that should had not been posted here….MY BAD.

All under the bad excuse of “it has caused bugs”.

So what? The preview is still bugged, half the weapons don’t show up right (if they have any fancy effects or transparent parts, they will miss in the preview. Also anything except for greatswords, bows and staffs vanishes in your armor…)

And they are probably going to KEEP it out of the game, they are just waiting for us to forget that there ever was such a feature.

You can preview items your toon can wear by copying the code from a site like guildwarstrade.com into your chat.

When you copy it into your chat it looks like this []

You can then right click it for a preview option.

It’s not optimal but it’s a good workaround until we get a Trading Post preview feature.

Do you have to manually type in the code, or is there a copy/paste method?
