I heard there is a guest mode that allows you to play on other servers without transferring. I like the server I’m currently on since just about everyone in my guild is here, but I also have friends on other servers as well. So is the only way to play on another server right now to transfer and then transfer back when I’m done?

I don’t believe the guesting has been introduced to the build yet.

As for transfers there is no cost but i 24 hr cooldown before you can transfer again.

The issue with transfers is the server you are moving to must not be full and the same again when you want to transfer back.

I’m pretty sure they said they intended to allow people on different servers to join a party and team with each other despite being on different servers. However they said it wouldn’t be available right away.

I’m not sure if this will work by temporarily moving one of the players into the others’s server or if they would just put everyone into an overflow-style server.

I just hope that when they implement this, they’ll give us a week-long heads up just so we won’t be stuck =/

I’m sure they will, Arenanet has been pretty good about keeping the community informed.

You can do dungeons with your friends on other servers already, just party up and enter from your own server.
