hey I am just wondering if there is any fast way to level up I am only lvl 3 but I really want to explore dungeons but I don’t want to go around towns and do story quests.I aslo heard that the first dungeon is at level 30 is there any fast way to get to 30.

No there isn’t. And imo you shouldn’t want to. GW2 is very different then other MMO’s and dungeon’s are really hard. So you really need the first 30levels to master your character, and your class good enough to have a fighting change in a dungeon. No matter how good you think you are, wanting to do it without playing the rest of the game regularly, you will fail.

Crafting. Which requires gold.

But if this is your first character, I highly recommend you take it slow. There are no healers and tanks to work for you here- you will need to learn how to dodge, kite, block, etc in order to survive.

EDIT: Also, even if you don’t mind, the rest of your group will. I know a number of players who will eventually refuse to rez someone who keeps going down, and have heard of others who outright kick. Rezzing someone in a dungeon puts you in great danger.

Exploration is usually the “best” way to level because literally every aspect of exploration grants experience. WvW might be faster if you are in the right matchup (decent server population that WvW’s at times that are good for you, but a matchup that’s competitive enough for camps, keeps, towers etc. to regularly be flipped).

If you were willing to spend real money, converting it to gold to fund a bunch of crafting would probably be the quickest. Would be a waste of money but hey, your call.

But it’s true, just getting to level 30 won’t be enough for you to have a good dungeon experience. Being at the minimum level in general makes them tougher, but especially you need to be good enough at your class to be able to adapt it to a group environment and be able to play more tactically than in normal PvE.

Legendary is going to take way more time than just reaching 80. By a huge margin, even if you’re lucky.

Well, you could start working on it now, but there’s no way you’ll get it done before 80 unless you buy over a thousand dollars in gold… in all honestly, I would focus on getting to 80 and learning the game before considering a legendary.

ok thx well I am stuck I stupidly went in tixx airship at lvl 3 although it boosts me to 80 my weapon is just a greatsword and there is no way out might need to make a new char

There is a way out… go to the deck near the end of the ship and check the console in the corner.

If you can’t find it, tell me your character’s name and I’ll party you and lead you out.

As everybody else has said go slow, enjoy the game, learn your character, etc.

Now to answer your questions, crafting is arguably one of the fastest ways to earn xp. Leveling one profession from 1-400 will get you about 10 levels. Even if you don’t focus on crafting, do it as you go along to get a couple levels here and there.

The other tip I would say is try to do events whenever possible, especially by renown hearts. You’ll get event xp, heart xp, and mob kill xp. My favorite is to do it with centaurs since a lot of the events are waves. They drop bags that have the crafting materials you need in there.

Unless you directly buy one from the TP it’s literally impossible to get a legendary without hitting 80 because the 100% map completion alone would get you to level 80.
And involves several level 80 areas anyway.

On a side note: Legendaries are something to do once you pretty much did everything else in the game…because you will need to do nearly everything in order to afford one.
Also, endgame doesn’t differ from leveling from 1 to 80 all that much…so you might as well enjoy the ride
Incidentally, exploring gives lots of exp while also taking you across the world, to events and hearts and hilarious NPC conversations.
