Guild Wars 2

I’m not one of those guys who can only do rp it gets tirering, but I do enjoy having 1 character in an rp group back when I played wow and a long lsit of mmo’s. So I was just wondering if it exists and if it does where it is.

Tarnished Coast (US) and Piken Square (EU) are the unofficial RP servers. There are small groups of RPers on other servers but most of them are on there.

If you only want to do it occasionally it might be worth guesting rather than switching completely, I’ve wandered around Piken Square from time to time randomly RPing with people I bump into and most are open to it.

A bigger question is does anybody actually chat with each other on a party or is it simply everyone is on headsets? I’ve been on parties for hours and nobody says nothing on the party or local channels. It’s just follow the leader and kill whatever they lead us to.

I have noticed the same things in many groups. A lot of people just don’t seem to talk to each other in mmo’s anymore. You can sometimes find a good group though if you want to talk/roleplay. I’m on Borliss pass and can never find anyone there.

I mainly party with my guild and we chat a lot in-game. We do have a vent channel or something like it but I never use it and I’ve never felt left out.

It does vary a lot though. I’ve seen some guilds saying they never use in-game chat.

Mostly party with guild here, and we are on Vent even when we get a single PUG or something.
