Is this it ?
First off, levels 1 to 80 ARE end game, I suggest you read the end game reimagined blog by Anet. https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/the-endgame-reimagined/
Secondly, I agree about the bots, I’ve been reporting them non-stop, starting to feel like a second job.
Honestly, the thing that comes to mind every time I see a thread like this is
“I’m going to rush to 80 and not care about what happens during the rush because max level lol.”
Did you even do anything other than grind out to 80?
There is only really the story that matters while leveling. The leveling process is often frustrating with the amount of bugs about.
The dungeons are not worth doing as the entertainment value is ok but you lose gold if you die (more likely with pugs) and get marginal experience compared to exploring hearts etc. Not to mention the abysmal loot.
End game content is nice for doing challenging tasks with friends and aiming for certain gear for stats or visuals.
Wow, it seems this community is complacent with bots and just wants to flame people for rushing through the game.
There is one simple fact in the op, bots are a problem. No one knows how much the OP plays or if they took their sweet time going through the game.
BOTS ARE A PROBLEM and Anet has done nothing about it since they cannot detect the bots.
They have done something about it. There are few who are benefitting, it isnt astromonical from what Ive seen, and I have played quite a bit. I have reported the few I have found, and they were literally parked, spamming auto attack, which meant they got in very few hits, it was hardly beneficial.
Second, they DID do something to stop botting, and it actually ruined drops for the rest of us which is far worse then just simply developing a procedure to “auto log off” a player reported for botting. And now mats are incredibly expensive, crafting is tough to finish, items still have a HEFTY mat price, yet drops have died considerably, and the average player can’t even play past an hour without insane diminishing returns.
