Hi all.

I’m just wondering I have a Thief and I want to keep the Hood you get at level 1 all the way until level 80 but what happens if I sell/delete the hood by accident is there any way of getting it back?

Thanks for taking the time to look at my post and hopefully have the answer to my rather noobish question

You can make a new thief alt, and transmute the hood to be account bound. That’s. The only way, though.

You can’t get back any item you sell or delete.

It’s a good idea to get into the habit of checking carefully before you sell or delete anything because as you continue playing you’ll aquire a lot of items you won’t want to loose.

I reserve the bottom bag on each of my characters for their important items. Things like minis, spare weapons/armor, gathering tools etc. Anything I wouldn’t want to loose. Because it’s in the bottom bag it’s clearly separated from items I’ve just picked up (which always fill empty spaces from top to bottom and left to right) which makes it very unlikely I’ll accidentally sell anything. But I also check the name when I am selling stuff just in case.

You can buy or craft invisible bags (or safe boxes) which are perfect for this – anything stored in them won’t show up on sell lists for merchants or the trading post. They won’t protect items from being deleted, but you can minimise the bag when sorting the rest of your inventory if that helps.

Oh, invisible bags/safe boxes are very useful!

All you need is one 18 slot invisible bags/safe box as your last bag for each toon. This way you can carry all your class weapons and full set of different stat armour without worry.

Are they expensive the 18 slot Invisible bags? It’s just I don’t have a lot of gold to spend

Well, depends on what a lot of gold is for you …
You can check prices for all sizes if invisable bags/boxes on the TP, then place a bid on one you can afford.

Or, you can craft one yourself under leatherworking, but the expensive part is the rune of holding.

EDIT: armoursmith and tailor can also craft boxes and bags …

An 18 slot invisible bag costs 2g 22s 23c on the TP at the moment. But you can also get 8 slot ones for 23c and there’s 10, 12 and 15 slot ones in between.

(There’s a 20 slot version too, but that’s over 12g and IMO the jump in price is not worth it for an extra 2 slots.)

If you can afford it I recommend getting the 18 slot version. It’s a good investment because it’s one item you’ll use constantly, and even if you delete the character you can save the bag and re-use it or sell it.
