I just came back after i dont know how many month away from GW2.

I got a whole slew of rewards that I have no clue what they are!

Some of them are armor, weapons and other equipable items that are not usable by the character that claimed them (in fact most of them are NOT usable by this class!) and they are soulbound so I cant give to another character on my account.

Working as intended? Bug? Do I have any options?

Sounds like you opened the PvP chest from the Achievement Point chests. Just right click and deposit collectibles. They go into the PvP locker. Those are PvP items. The soulbound part you can ignore. Once they are put into the locker you can take them out with another character.

Note that you can only put one of any item into the locker.

If you don’t plan on doing any PvP you can just destroy them. However they PvP gear is also used when doing various mini games.

Make sure you salvage them, not just destroy them. You’ll need the special PvP salvage kit for that.
