Fighting Jormag alone atm cus everyone else too busy with the mobs… Come on anet do something. It’s sad when players ignore the dragon that drops no real loot for the mobs it spawns to get loot.

Loot from those spawns isn’t even the greatest Vakat, the small ones that explode don’t seem to give experience anymore (so they don’t seem to give loot either). Very little loot to have there now.

Any suggestions as to what could be improved?

Jormag’s Claw. One of his champions/lieutenants. Not Jormag. Just in case you or anyone else thinks its Jormag himself…

Do you have any ideas to encourage players to do those type of events more often? Increasing the loot is one option but likely wouldn’t be enough, and the ease of those events would make them farmable which may inflate the economy moreso.

I do the Jormag event a lot, mainly to farm the ads. There is no point battling the ice wall or the dragon, cos there is nothing in it. The chest loot at the end is mostly crap, you might get a rare now and again. The ads drop much better loot and corrupted lodestones.

The best way to play this event is to completely ignore the dragon and farm the ads. This event can go on for hours increasing the amount of loot drops.

Now you know why you are the only one fighting the dragon …

I do think that fighting the boss of a world event (dragon or e.g. like the fire elemental) should be more rewarding. It shouldn’t make you more wealthier though. My suggestion would be to add an account bound token to the chest reward (that is always! rewarded beside the current crap inside it), that can be traded for unique gear (like dungeon tokens)

I found myself soloing the champions that were attacking the people striking against the Claw. I felt like I was contributing – and gained a sense of accomplishment because soloing 3 champions before the claw dies (at least a month ago – maybe not so much now that more people seem to only fight adds) isn’t exactly a quick deal.

do you really want bosses so easy that they can be soloed? and ask for help from others. esspecially with harder bosses people will come. ive a particular hatred for some DE bosses and like to kill them even without much promise of a reward.

Just yesterday I was there for the event. I contributed. I got a gold medal….and with that 4 blues and a green…

The loot should be scaled to the event and level of it. Seriously…

I got a friggin yellow hammer of a mob and crappy items from the chest.

I got a little ‘Storm’ a week ago that I got to sell for a bit of gold, that was nice.

What I don’t like about Jormag (and no, I don’t care if it’s his half-cousin’s sister who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors, it’s “Jormag” to me just like all you folks call dungeons cryptic things HoQ3, 3F8Y) right now is having to use the Jonny Commander Zap Zap Go Rifle Squadron Pew Pew to bring his shield down. I hope they fix that.

Imagine the size of Jormag if it’s just his claw… I think more powerful than Zaitan?
