Just bought 3 char slots
I did…
Asura Engineer
Norn Ranger
Human Elementalist
Human Guardian
Charr Thief
Charr Warrior
Sylvari Mesmer
Sylvari Necromancer
Had to make sure to do one of each as a minimal haha
I think the best of note is charr guard or warr. I went with charr guard and norn warrior. The charr heavy armor just looks good. I like the T2 the best, but T3 is just as good. In any case, it’s always seemed better to have a big front-line character, or old habits from old games (e.g. eq etc.). Specifically myself, I went with all white fur, celestial for under-armor, then plate with blood legion colors being red with orange highlight. I don’t see a lot of it around, so still stands out as unique… especially with everyone wearing flamy CoF armor hah. Win at all costs! Oh and guard, so one set is mace/shield as is common, the shield is transmuted blood legion from newbie zone karma vendor, red/orange like the armor and fits in well.
Second fav looking is probably human male thief in full duelist or equivalent. Looks like the male thief minion. All dark/black apart from the under-armor parts (mask, elbows etc. which I use either red or swamp (swamp like the minion). On another set (MF set), I use the same but use the original thief hoodie (transmuted up) and the whispers shoulders (transmuted – has daggers attached). I just mix in the armor 2 slot with gun metal over dark/black to bring out detail (armor edges). Hood is open so no mask color, just gun metal on the edging.

(All male ofc, it’s a RPG after all)
I’m sorry, I really don’t mean to take this thread off course but I’m so curious that I have to as…what exactly does this being an RPG have to do with playing all male characters?

No problem with that^^
Nah it’s just I personally do not like playing female characters whatsoever. Just can’t do it. Others may like it, I don’t.

Cool. No problem with that what-so-ever. I just thought that I might be doing something wrong and that you might know something about RPGs and Gender that I didn’t.
Thanks for the response and Peace!
My aesthetics breaks down even further into weapon groups.
I find that the sword/horn paring on the Norn looks horrible with a Norn male doing it but looks fine with a Norn female.
You also get a different animation per race with different weapons.
Just look how a Norn warrior charges and how a Charr warrior charges. Totally different.
Female? I like the BLTC light armor (some 500 gems). It’s much like the GW1 armor I had on my female nec/rng. It has the arm and leg straps that stick straight out. I use celestial for all of it apart from armor 2 slot (edging) which I use yellow/gold colors. It’s a human female, long blonde, GS mesmer with a golden great sword, so looks really good imo. Have gotten lots of complements.
RP, whats that? No but really, real RP is easy with a fem as much as a male, unless you play stupid like a flirtatious fem which is kinda sad… I mean if no one knows you are RPing… which then you probably are not but just being a pest. I’ve been a part of serious RP groups for years and over the years, and also like to write (stories and poetry) so I have no problem with it. Lots of people say they are RPing, but… most are just immersionists.
