Guild Wars 2

Evening all

So I picked this game up a long while ago. I only have 4 characters capped (Mesmer, Thief, Necro, Engi) and I still just cannot think of who to play.

I enjoy PvP/WvW, but I feel like I’m much too bad at the game to play any of the characters I picked. (inb4 thief and skill stuff)

So I’m kind of lost. I’ve joined guilds but my inability to do much of anything in WvW roaming, makes me feel bleh when I roam, even in a group. The same goes for SPvP

So, I’m trying to finally sit down and pick, and better myself. I just don’t know who to do it with. I’m wondering if I should pick one of my current characters or try a Guard/War

Though I am aware of the stigma towards Warrior and that is kind of a turn off, but their versatile play style may be just what I need. Though Guardian seems interesting too since I enjoy semi support roles in other games.

Any opinions? Anything at all is appreciated. Thanks for the reply!

From the toons you already have, the easiest and also effective in both WvW and PvP is teh necro.
In WvW necro is better among a zerg group than roaming, but even at roaming it performs really well.
In PvP you can either go as power or cond and both are good enough, you could even see necros in the teams that went to the finals in the tournament that happened yesterday.

I personally prefer eng but I know that it is a hard class to play, but my necro is my 2nd favorite class in PvP and WvW.

Tough part is, we’re in an “all bets are off” moment right now waiting for more specialization reveals (and even still the fine-tuning with the ones that have been), more with Revenant and its specialization, what classes might be best in the new WvW borderlands and/or Stronghold, etc. I know we can do some speculation now with the info we have, but seeing as nothing is really set in stone until its delivered…

Hmm, I suppose I should say, I know I’m bad but I am looking for something that will reward someone that actually learns how to play it. I’ve played a little bit of Necro and I enjoy them (mine was so fun to dress up >3>; ) but I dunno, I only really felt good things from MM

Hm…How does Guardian perform and build and stuff? I never really looked into them much and I guess I should try them before going all out into another character :v
