Guild Wars 2

Hey all,
Fresh 80 Guardian here with literally no insight as to the magnitude of endgame! My cousin and I just hit 80 Guardian/Warrior and all we did essentially was rush through PVE maps, crafted to 400, and completed personal story to hit max level. We didn’t plan ahead nor did we realize how magnificently large the content of endgame is in this particular game! We’re… to put it bluntly, overwhelmed? I’ve chosen the build I’d like to go, and I know, to a degree, the gear that is required. However, acquiring that gear(exotic at least) is posing problems. I have around 145k karma to spend which to my understanding is around 3 pieces worth of the PVT armor I’d like to get from the temples in Orr. My dilemma? My server never seems to do the events or I’m on at bad times, or both! My second dilemma, I can’t get to the Cathedral of Silence, I have no idea where the entrance is, jumping on fungal over growths on the cliff-side I found a Grand Chest lol but still no entrance to the Cathedral which, let’s face it, if I did find it it’s going to be contested with my luck! How can one obtain these karma pieces and shop at their leisure when they’re consistently overrun? Help a newbie out!

Your alternatives are to acquire an AC or WvW Invaders set (both PTV), and regarding the entrance to the Temple of Grenth, hug the west side and go south, there should be a tunnel with spiders, turn right at the end and you’ll be in the temple.
