Karma uses?
Buy leather gear, throw it in the forge, salvage the results, profit.
You can also use it to buy rare crafting recipes or map bonus reward progress from the Pact Supply Network Agents if you have the Pact Commander Mastery Line.
okay I will try both although I didnt quite understand what mtpelion said
There are six (one per core region) and they appear in a different location each day. You can purchase once from each, per day, per account.
- Pact Scout’s Mapping Materials costs ~5k and can be used to gain map rewards quickly, e.g. in Frostgorge the week it’s dishing out giant eyes and charged lodes.
- Recipes, usually for around 25k. Many can be resold on the TP.

(there are lots of other sites that show efficient uses for karma)
As a note, here’s what you can expect:
- 11.43 silver per 1,000 karma is your benchmark — this is what you ‘save’ by using karma to buy your way to thirst slayer, buying salvage kits or harvesting tools for karma (instead of coin)
- 2-8 s/k-Karma Buying karma items, forging, and salvaging (sometimes as high as 10s, rarely 20-30s, as it used to be)
- 10-30s/KK crafting and selling beaded weapons, although these are hard to sell at “your” price (fierce competition)
- 0-60s/KK crafting unidentified hue-specific dyes (e.g. unidentified rare red) and selling
- 1-3 s/KK orrian jewelry boxes (biggest advantage: trivial to convert — all the other methods require some effort)
If you want to make a legendary you’re likely to need a lot of it, especially if you want to craft the precursor.
Other than that I mainly use it to get exotics when a character first reaches level 80, or convert it to gold by buying karma gear to throw in the Mystic Forge.
Oh, and last year Wintersday introduced a lot of karma sinks, which may well come back this year.

Yes, Wintersday Gifts were a better investment than most things on the list, up until the first 100 or so. After that, they weren’t always the most economically efficient, but they were even more convenient than Orrian Jewelry Boxes (the other sinks were poor uses, in terms of silver per 1000-karma).
If you consider ascended easy to get, then the Karmic Converter is the thing for you!
