Hiya peoples. I see this word being tossed around in chat in ways I’ve never seen before. I’ve tried looking up the slang for it in this circumstance and had no luck. So wth does it mean in chat plez?

Kitten is the profanity filter. All ’’bad’’ word are replace automatically by kitten. Over time it started to be a inside joke in the forum and a lot of ppl use directly kitten instead of ’’bad’’ word. Or maybe I’m the only one doing that

BTW you can turn off the profanity filter for your chat screen in options….

Just in case you want to see curse words ….. or have an issue with baby-cats….

The filter in game doesn’t change words to kitten, they become dashes, such as the word re- – - -tion. So if OP is seeing the word kitten in map chat, people are typing it out.

Cool thanks for the responses. Sounds like fun to me I’ll use kitten in place of swears. And I looked all over for settings and could only find the personal info changes, (I know the ones in game but not on forums) no profanity filters but eh np, kitten is more fun.

And of course the forum filter at times can be a bit aggressive.
