Guild Wars 2

OK, I have completed all of Queensdale, Gandarren Fields, Kessex Hills, Harathi Hinterlands and Bloodtide Coast. They are the five explorable areas in Kryta. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Kryta

I have also completed Divinities Reach and Lions Arch. Yet I am on 169/175 for the explorer achievement.

I don’t understand, do I need to explore everything in the CM dungeon? Or are there parts of my personal story that uncover more bits of the land? NOTE# I am pretty low on my personal story (26).

Nope, you must open every location on Kryta zone, look your map for blurry areas on zones(at your map ofc) and try to discover them.
