Guild Wars 2

I’am currently trying to fidn a group to comeplete achievements of season 2 presonal story.
I list my part typing there a description of which chapter I am looking for players for, sit there for a couple of minutes reading or doing whatever on my other screen. I look back at the LFG tool, which was open all during those 2 minutes, and my party is gone, I am no longer listed in there.

I relist myself, retyping the description in there, wait again doing something else, look back in-game and I’m no more in the group list.

After 3 attempts I find myself not being allowed to list my party because of excessive messaging…

Are there any workarounds and/or reasonable explanations to this?

Someone joined your party and then left.

Doesn’t the listing timeout after a few 9maybe 5) minutes if no one joins the group?

I’m sure nobody joined and left, that happened a couple times, but I can explain that so I didn’t mind.
Those I could not explain might have been due to nobody joining, makes sense.

I just tested this; your LFG post will expire and be automatically removed after it has been up for 5 minutes (exactly) without anyone joining or leaving, so Slalom has it right.

So from what I can assume, if what you say is true that no one joined or left, I presume it just sat there for 5 minutes and was automatically removed once that time period was up.
