HELP!

Now don’t shout at me, but I need help and I need it in clear terms.

I have been trying to use the LFG tool to join up with people doing Open World (World Bosses) events. I click on the event, click on Join Group and hey presto, I can see the little blue dots of other players, but they are in a different phase from me! WHY? How to I get to them?

I’ve tried joining the group when I am at the Waypoint required, from Lion’s Arch and virtually every other way I can think of but to no avail.

What am I missing?

Right click on any of their portraits and select “Join them in world” (Or something, can’t quite remember exact text)

Basically each map has a different layer which when it fills up, creates a new layer for more players to fill with each layer being separate from the others. If you join a group which has players who aren’t in your map layer, then you can right click on their mini portrait to “join them”.

This is what gets referred to as “taxiing” into a map. You will find that if their map layer is full, you can’t join them and a message will pop up. You can either keep trying and hope someone leaves that map, or just give up trying at that point.

OMG, it really was that easy. Thank you, thank you. I have scoured forums and help sections and the internet and NO-ONE has said that before. How on earth do other players find out what to do?
