I am looking for a player, he’s a friend of mine and I wanna start my game in the same world as him. His character in GW1 was Crush Death, probably the same in 2. Thank you!

aren’t you allowed to change servers for free if you have no characters?
someone else should confirm this before you try it.
what I’m suggesting: you pick a random server, create any character, look for him, add as friend, delete that character, switch to his server, create your real character.
might be tricky to find him. there’s this number after players’ names that’s important for that. you can’t email him?

By friend he probably means someone that he played with in game and does not necessarily actually know the person. And to the OP have you tried mailing this person using the GW1 name?

You should be able to bring up the Contact window without joining a server on the character select screen.
