Has anyone tried buying the class specific gear for laurels? Did you get anything good?

A guild mate bought a few and said they were a waste of time, i have not done it personally though so YMMV.
Gamble Boxes ~ need I say more? Also, worth noted there was some issues with them, so I’d check up on that. I don’t know if they fixed them yet.

From what I’ve read you get to trash rares, not worth it if you need multiple necklaces/infusions per char or play alts.
(B-but they’ll add in more ways to get laurels laaaaater)
I don’t know when later is, it could be around the time rangers get QoL improvements or SPvP becomes an esport (i.e. never)
You have gotten what you paid for, all that remains is biweekly gemshop pushing.

I got 2 Rares, a Light Chest and Light pants out of the Necro box, couldnt use either was disappointed. It is a gamble and when I get my Amulet I will go between these and T6 Mats, though currently T6 mats might be the better way to go, it should guarantee 90s+, if you get a pair of rares like I did its worth 60s unless you salvage and get more than 1 ecto.
