Leather Bag
You can equip and disequip bags at will as long as the bag is empty. It’d be a nightmare if it was any other way.
Also you can just drag a bigger bag onto the slot. You’ll get more space and the 4-slotter will swap with the one you dragged on.
Thats good to know thank you, I have another question as I am getting extremely frustrated, I am now a level 16 charr warrior. I have the got the best possible gear for the level, and there is a level 13 boss in the Ascalon City ruins that kills me within seconds. Also in Victors Presidium at the beginning of the Plains of Ashford, there is a level 10 or 13 boss that kills me within seconds as well. Is this normal? has another other charr warrior ran into this?
If you’re talking about the champion underground in the ruins, that’s normal. It’s pretty much the hardest soloable champion in the game; even my ele has problems soloing it. Krait witches are even stronger, and completely unsoloable.
PS don’t use leather bags, they can’t even be resold. Get at least the 8 slot leather backpack off the TP.

Ascalon City Ruins would be Siegemaster Lormar.
Oh no, Lormar’s easy. Horace is the difficult one.
Just kill all the other mobs first then take your time whittling down his health.

One of the unusual things GW2 does is scale you to the level of the area you’re in.
In most cases this only applies to lower level areas. If you’re level 45 and you go to a level 5 area for example all your attributes and your health will be reduced to what they’d be at level 5. You still get to keep all your skills and any traits you’ve unlocked so it’s not exactly like being that level but it does mean you can’t count on simply being a high enough level to demolish whatever you’re fighting.
(On the plus side it does mean you can’t really miss anything when levelling up because anything you don’t do, like other races starting areas, you can go back and do later without it being painfully boring.)
Sometimes you will be up-levelled too, so you can play content that’s designed for higher level characters. This is usually for temporary content like the Living Story releases but it also applies to WvW and sometimes other areas.
That doesn’t mean you won’t be able to do certain things, it just means it will always be a challenge and you have to go in prepared for that, making use of all your skills, dodging attacks, positioning yourself carefully etc. Especially if an enemy has Champion or Elite at the start of their name (or Legendary, but that’s rare) or an event is marked [Group Event] that means it’s intended for more than one person to do and you’re going to have a very hard time doing it alone.

The Victors Presidium boss is indeed Horace (or one of the three bosses that spawnb before him). He is idneed pretty hard to solo and for a startermap I think the hardest. Lormar is easier but still pretty hard.
What is important to recognise is that both are indicated as group-events. This term refers to events that are designed to do with a group of people and not solo.
There are group events that are, despite the name, perfectly doable solo if you are a skilled player, but some are nearly impossible, specially when you are low level.
The thing indicated here bout high level players going to a low level area is correct, but the advantage is still big to come back later. On some of my level 80’s I have succesfully killed Horace without the help of others. But it is difficult and challenging still. I wouldn’t try it on a low level. If he is up then I jsut run through full kamikaze to the point of interest and then waypoint out if I don’t make the return trip.
