Leaving a guild
There is really no negative side to being in a guild … you can join more than one as well. If the other people apply “pressure” and that’s not your thing I would just say so, I’d have no hard feelings. You have to be comfortable.

“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”

People leave guilds all the time. Anyone who would give you a black mark isn’t someone you’d want to share a guild with in the first place.
Yeah, you can just join another at the same time you are in that guild, but I think the best thing is to talk with the guild leader and/or an officer and tell why you are leaving, there is a good chance that they can even help you solve that issue.
