Legendary
Map completion is so not impossible; you just have to make yourself do it. If you want a legendary, then map completion NEEDS to be done. So, get it done.
Also, panhandling on the forums is frowned upon. Start doing dungeons (you get at least 1g per explorable path per day). Farm in Silverwastes. Use your laurels to get your t6 mats. Do world bosses, and break down the rares you get for ectos.
Also, don’t buy things that you don’t need; that way, you won’t waste gold.
It can be done, even if you don’t make a lot of gold at once, it just takes longer.
If you don’t want to farm (or don’t have time to farm) just make sure you save as much gold as possible. Don’t use waypoints unless you have to (and even then use asura gates to get to the closest city first), don’t buy other non-essential things like skins. Also go through your bank on a regular basis and sell anything you don’t need, especially crafting materials.
Don’t expect to get enough T6 materials as drops. That would take forever. Instead save up your laurels and use them to buy the T6 crafting bags. Once you’ve got everything else if you still need more use gold to buy them (put in buy orders, the fill quickly and it’s a lot cheaper than buying them instantly).
I’m not sure what you mean about hating map completion because you hate doing things that don’t need to be done. If you want a legendary then it does need to be done, it’s one of the parts there’s really no alternative for. But it might help to do it one map at a time, and maybe use a guide to make it faster.
Basically I recommend doing all the bits that don’t require gold first, while saving all your gold. Then get the precursor, then start putting all your gold towards the other bits.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
Dungeons, boss’s farm, use laureals to buy T6 maths and etc.
It’s all will take your time so you must be patient and persistent. That’s all

what i mean is that I struggle to do something if there isn’t a point e.g. leveling
There is a point though – to get an item you need for your legendary. Legendaries, if you make them, do take a lot of time and effort to make, and map completion is just one thing that you need.
If you’re set on making a legendary, you’ll just have to remember that – and I’d second taking Danikat’s suggestion – it’s not like you’ll get all the mats in a day or week, so spread out the times you work on map completion. You can gather mats to either work on your own crafting, or to sell on the tp at the same time, and of course enemies can drop some things you’ll need. It’s not like working toward map completion means you can’t get other stuff at the same time – and it’s easier now that you don’t need to get the WvW maps too.

That. Get into the mindset that treats map completion as something necessary.
Well, thxs alot all
Any tips/ donations / anything would be appreciated,
