I’m currently in need of a load of all the T6 mats for the gift. I read that it’s better to farm gold to buy the mats rather than attempt to farm them, which makes sense as it’s tripple RnG° on farming the T6 mats!

So my question is:

Would it be better to promote T5 mats in the Mystic Forge, or would it be better to just buy the T6 mats?

When buying anything, I usuall ‘offer’ instead of using the buyout price, which often saves money.

° Tripple RnG meaning that when you kill a mob, you ‘may’ get a loot bag. when you open that loot bag, you ‘may’ get a T6 material and even then it ‘may’ be the one you need.

If you already have the T5 mats, promote. If you don’t have the T5 mats, then just buy the T6 outright.
