Legendary Owners, I need your help.
- Gift of Fortune. Precursor is debatable, because acquiring it is extremely temperamental.
- Once you have the precursor, what could end up being the hardest part is done, so the rest is just a matter of time.
- All I’ve done for 2 legendaries is play dungeon content and do gathering/daily runs.
- I won’t lie, I play almost half the day every day. However, not all of that time was dedicated to getting the legendaries. It comes as a side effect of doing other stuff with friends eg. assisting in Fractal runs and WvW.
- For the skin and prestige value, it’s personally worth it. I did nothing but play for skins in GW1, and this was no different.

Thank you for the reply.
How long did it take you? Don’t worry about factoring in JUST farming hours, I want to know how long after you acquired the game did you manage to get your legendary.
- Gift of [The Juggernaut]. Because Molten Lodestones and Silver Doubloons. However, other Legendaries (Sunrise) will require far MORE expensive stuff. It is a friggin’ Gold-spam.
- 100% Easier. Especially since holding the Precursor means you’re technically, 25% done. Very big morale boost too, gives you something to work for.
- I never touched the darn TP to flip, only to purchase.
- Weekdays, 3 hours. Weekends… whole day. Honestly it got tiring but when you log in to see yourself holding the Precursor as a main weapon, you subconsciously get the push to do it. I guess.
- Yes. It is something that you know won’t suddenly ‘expire’, or get pushed back tiers (like Ascended did to Exotic). Also, visual candies.
I took about 3 months since the day I started to the day I got it.
I also agree to Auesis about the Precursor. Honestly, having that thing will boost your morale so much.
