Ok, so i have just got my asura character to 80 and love the ranger. I would love to go for a legendary, thinking about a greatsword, but i am concerned that i will put so much effort in and will hardly be able to see the weapon. Should i make a new charcater with a different race? or should i carry on and is it possible to see legendaries easily on an asura?

Go to the marketplace and search for the legendary weapon you want to use. Preview it on your Asura.

That will give you some idea.

When playing my asura, my camera is zoomed in much more then on my norn or char. This is more fitting to the experience and also gives another feel for the game. So it makes me see my weapons, effects like footsteps, and all other things perfectly (I guess cause im still working on a legendary, but it goes with everything else like armor and weapons. So for yourself it will be easy to see it and enjoy it.

On the other hand. Part of having a legendary that I actually find distastefull is that people want to brag around with it. the way some people spent hours and hours at the tradepost to make profit over the back over others is in my personal opinion disgusting. It makes a legendary weapon shine less cause its less proof of being an outstanding player. So I will wear my legendary /when i get it) with proud knowing for myself that i didn’t do things to get it I find personally distastefull. That doesn’t mean that you are not allowed to brag and many people do get a legendary for the reason to show they have a bigger……(well i have to watch the faul language filter here). And I actually understand why.

So if that is important for you, yeah any weapon and armor set including a legendary weapon is more visable on a bigger race then on a small Asura. I was playing with a friend of mine today who has an asura warrior at low level. She told me she had some issues understanding the class. So the first thing I tried when playing (and observing her) was what weapons she was using. I could see it was onhand/offhand set, but i really had to ask to ping them to know what weapons she was using (I was on my big fat bulky norn btw).

thanks guys! i think i will at least do world completion on my asura buddy and will probably use my legendary on him because the greatswords look soooo cool on asuras!!! thanks for the help
