Can someone tell me what i need to do exactly
to get the gift of exploration?

Explore all the maps of Tyria except Southsun cove, Dry Top and Silverwastes. So, every point of interest, every vistas, every waypoint and do every heart. Races cities too.

Do i need also to explore WvW maps?

Yes, all except Edge of the Mists.

Yeah, WvW too, so watch out every friday your server colour and start do them while you’re exploring the map, cause sometimes it can take 1+month to complete that cause of bad luck on colors.

since you pvp you will have no problem surviving in wvw on an 80, just use a mobile build and dedicate some time to wandering around wvw and eventually you will be able to complete all 4 maps. especially if you get lucky and your server is paired down or if you get lucky with colors. the harder part will be suffering through the royal kittenton of pve maps.

I really wish they would include these (also eotm). I’m sure they didn’t include them to make it fair to people who made legendaries long ago vs. right now, but it bothers me that “map completion” doesn’t mean you uncovered the entire map.
