If I transmute a legendary skin onto an exotic weapon, will the resulting weapon keep it’s legendary status? More importantly, since legendary weapons will get a boost in stats when ascended weapons get released, would this stat boost apply to transmuted legendary weapons?

the Legendary will become exotic. because of its loss of Legendary status, it wont be upgraded when the ascended weapons come in. you keep the skin and not the rarity.
