I was wondering if there was a level 10/11 Elemental Tree Person who wanted to level. First time playing struggling on own
By the way my realm is Ring of Fire

My elementalist silvari is my first character and level 80. If your an elementalist yourself you don’t need to play with another elementalist. Any silvari can do (and who knows, a human, norn, char or even an asura wouldnt mind).

Som tips on my ele I used at low level.
a: dodge dodge dodge.
b: AoE vs direct damage: AoE is nice, but the damage to each individual is lower then with direct damage skills. And 5 foes with 25% health deal the same damage as 5 foes with 100% health. So find a good balance between AoE and direct damage. If you can take out a few oponnents, the fight gets a lot easier.
c: do you story when you are 1-2 levels above the recommended level
d: (later on) invest in staying durable. not only in gear but also in skill and traits. Signets are very nice

no i do the quests when im the level it says to be, because takes me ages to level as dont really know how far to go on the map to find quests etc
I was looking for someone to play with as i know like nothing about the game and finding it hard to do it on own as dont know much

You’ll want to say what server you’re on so you can find someone that’s on the same one as you. (I’m on Sea of Sorrows)

The main thing about levelling in GW2 is to do events as often as you can find them; they’re basically the game’s quests. If you want to get more xp elsewhere you can also go to other maps and clear renown hearts.

I forgot that bit, I’ve edited my post and put my realm. How do you go to other maps?

On the top level of The Grove is a portal to Lion’s Arch, which is the hub city that leads to all others. From there you can go to any of the other 1-15 maps. The level scaling system means you will always get level-appropriate rewards for events and renown hearts.

I’m currently not leveling (well some level 30+ characters), but I wouldn’t mind helping you a bit on the way. Play a bit with you, see how you handle things, you see how I handle things, and make suggestions for improvement.

Visit the Grove and find the Crafting masters if you haven’t yet. Crafting contributes a pretty significant XP amount if you stay on top of it. I got all my Crafts taken care of across 4 toons, I didn’t bother on my 5th and I was always behind on levels until I started crafting with it.
