Guild Wars 2

So I have a few characters i want to use my level 80 boost on, but I want to know if I will still be able to continue the personal story on that character after im boosted, or if it will just throw me into the Heart of Thorns story. I haven’t experienced most of the story with the other races yet so i want to know if im going to miss out if I do this wrong.

It will have no effect on your personal story, you’ll still be able to do it whenever you wish.

Edit: Just click the story journal tab in the hero window, then click the my story drop down menu and click “Continue This Story”

It’s exactly the same as if you leveled up any other way.

Your personal story will still be available and work as normal, it will show the first chapter and then you’ll have to complete that to do the second, and so on until you’ve reached the end.

You will also be able to switch to the HoT story (or Season 2 if you’ve got it unlocked) but you won’t be forced to play that first, or at all.
