Q:
Level 80 warrior items for new player.
How many laurels do you have? Can you afford to get an ascended amulet or ring from the laurel merchant? It’s worth it for the stats, plus they’re account bound so you can switch them to different characters later if you want.
If you can’t afford ascended trinkets, I’d suggest getting exotic trinkets to optimise your build (if you haven’t already). Also, exotic armour and weapons if you don’t have them yet.
What build are you running? Get a superior rune set that complements your build and superior sigils for your weapons. Most Warriors are running Strength or Hoelbrak runes, I believe, but they are pricey (would use up most of your 50g). I wouldn’t recommend such an investment if you’ve just reached level 80.
There is a way to convert karma into gold, that would give you a few more options – maybe check wiki or google for that?
Here is my recommend
1/ With 1367 Badges of honor you can easy buy 6 pcs of armor ( i prefer Berserker stat ) in WvW vendor you need 950 badges and a little bit of gold but you won’t have much badge left for weapons.
2/ Since you have 160k karma the best way is to mix armor pcs between Badge and Temple armor ( here https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Temple_armor cost 42k karma per pcs ) but you have to run very far for temple armor so my suggest is try to grind 10k karma more and with 170k karma you can buy 4 pcs of temple armor + 2 pcs badges armor that way you will have a lot of badges left for your weapons.
3/ For trinkets rings amulet there is no way you have enough laurel to buy ascended so i suggest you buy exotic berserker stat ( Orichalcum ) trinket x2 ring x2 amulet x1 cost you ~20g.
4/ Runes and Sigils this part is a little bit costly for you because warrior use very expensive runes/sigils i suggest you go here http://metabattle.com/wiki/MetaBattle_Wiki and find your build
But imo since war have great power runes of the ranger would be the best if you don’t have a lot of gold https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Superior_Rune_of_the_Ranger but you need a miniature active in order to trigger #6 bonus and when you have your gold back you can replace it with better version.
For sigils is your choice hard to say cuz it’s more like personal taste.
The only downside of Badge gears and temple gears is you can’t salvage them which mean if you use expensive runes/sigil and you want to replace your armor or weapon you lose all runes/sigils but trust me you won’t change your gears for a very long time…

Isnt WvW weapon 130 ish
WvW weapon cost 1g + 132 badge for main/off handed and 1g + 198 for 2-handed
