I hate Level Scaling, alot of people do, just as many love it, plenty of threads cover that, but I have not been able to find one that speaks to how best to minimize the effects.

What Gear, Runes, Builds anything best survive the nerf. How does one maximize whats left of their toon after the Dev’s have worked their black magick on it.

It is pointless to talk about runes and builds and gear without knowing what class you want to use them for.

There is the general answer “don’t wear armor that is too many levels below your character level”. Stick with at least Masterwork quality.

Some classes can get away with underleveled gear better than others. I’ve done that on my guardian(on purpose) and on my necromancer(accident). It had a much lower impact on my necromancer than my guardian.

I don’t think there is much you can do. As far as I have seen scaling reduces your states to the best available gear for the level you are scaled to (assuming you have the best gear for your level).
