A:

Edge of the Mist is still an incredibly fast way to level. Just follow the Commander and you’ll finish loads of events, keeps give almost half a level, gives reasonable Karma and Champbags aswell, work especially well as Green is my guess, since in that current match-up Green are ‘the best’ servers in their respective leagues.

Also try to do the small things, say you do dungeons, don’t open and ask nicely if you can relog at the end. (Works better if you have friends along with you, just to be sure some watches the video to buy you some time.)

Pop any Tomes of Knowledge you have, maybe the 1y birthday instant level 20 item.

The all-time fastest is ofcourse Crafting, if you want to invest such money. But if you plan on maxing a craft anyway, do it whilst leveling.

IMHO the best way to level the fastest is the best way to miss: all the stunning scenery and graphics all around you, deeply imbedded lore that can give true meaning to your characters growth, game interaction with NPC’s, knowledge of the world, connections with all the local areas that you can assist with all of the problems affecting them, interactive learning of how your skill mastery can enhance your game play at higher and highest levels, accumulation of wealth needed at higher levels, accumulation of skill needed at higher levels, accumulation of materials needed at higher levels, the required knowledge of combat interaction to boost a solo or group effort to victory, the ability to make rote the ability to use specific combos at the right time to complete an objective, the ability to enjoy the simple things in RL because you have to “grind Gold”, and so much more.
Why try to get to the end game content when you are in the end game. It does not get much better than where you are right now, enjoy the ride as there is no destination.

The most interesting way (IMO) is to get all the boosters you can (Advanced XP, Birthday and some banners & food) and clear maps while killing every yellow creature you can find (especially on the edges and and in hidden areas). Note that the bonus XP is based on how long the enemy has survived on the map….yellow creatures in out of they way places net the best).

Between maps, run EotM for a few hours.

Thanks for taking the time to help me out Sligh.2789

I actually have a 100% map completion character, and around 5 (a total of 14 characters all level 80 except 2.) that are 40+%. I have seen all of the scenery in the game (Yes it is beautiful), and have done all the story missions an all the new and old LS missions. I’m pretty much trying to get my 2nd Guardian to level 80 as fast and easy as possible, after leveling 12 other character’s to level 80, It’s getting old XD!

Kudos to you. I missed a lot the first 8 times I leveled to 80, so maybe you will find or discover something different this time around. Otherwise, use a scroll to level 20, and then hire someone to Edge of the Mists to 80. Couple days continuous at most.

you mean the champion guys? but can 1 solo random low level guy kill them?
I’m lv 21 atm, and even the silver ones are Tough. (low lv thief, bad gear and low money)

They mean the ambient creatures that will not attack you on their own because they are neutral (yellow). Red means enemy, green means ally, yellow means neutral.

The fastest way to level is to use an experience scroll to jump to level 20 and 60 tomes of knowledge to get the rest of the way.

Assuming that’s not an option Edge of the Mists is the fastest.

But, IMO, having just levelled a character to 80 in about 25 hours (doing the personal story along the way) through a combination of all of the above it’s also quite boring. I like WvW but by the end the last thing I wanted to be doing was running around EOTM.

Unless you need a new level 80 ASAP I strongly recommend just playing normally and looking out for opportunities for extra XP, like yellow enemies, along the way.
