Guild Wars 2

Hi guys, I start GW2 like three days ago, and is right now lvl 61, I have been leveling by doing dungeons, crafting, train and personal story, but I heard from people that WvW is a good way to lvl from 60-80, but I don’t know what todo exactly, can someone plz give me a run down of what to do? Thanks a lot.

follow the blue taco (commander tag) get exp for capped(captured) stuff (stand in capturing circles, no damage dealing involved)

if there are no commanders and enough ppl following to cap stuff on your usual playing hours then sadly no exp from wvw for you

don’t try roaming (running alone or in small groups to cap lesser objectives) with underleveled character if you are new to wvw/pvp (frustration unavoidable)

P.S. there is new trend lately – on fridays some wvw maps turn into karma train farming – when 2 zergs from diff servers run in a circle and capture all ze thingz w/o defending – thats because on fridays winner is often already decided and everyone want some easy karma and wxp (world vs world experience)

Join WvW and ask if there’s a karma train going on. Alternatively some big guilds do karma trains on specific nights each week, if you see one where most people are from the same guild, that’s probably the case, ask someone there if they’re doing a guild karma train and if it would be ok for you to join them, and whether they do it every week.

Well, what server are you on? If you post the server maybe someone on your server will see this thread and offer to give you the “guided tour” so to speak.
